Strongarm Robbery
111 West, 800 South

The female victim was walking north, up the alley that runs just west of the 7-11.  She was headed to the 7-11 from a residence nearby.  She was tackled from behind, driven to the ground and struck in the back of the head, and ribs.  The only suspect info is “dark hoodie.”  The suspect took her cash she had in her purse and fled on foot.

Traffic (bikes) Stop / Warrants / Foot Pursuit
100 S. 500 W.

Officers stopped two males at 100 S. 500 W. for riding their bikes without headlights.  One of the males, Nathan Potter (3/18/81), was found to have outstanding felony warrants.  When Officers informed Potter he was under arrest for the warrants Potter fled on foot.  Potter was located at 280 S. Rio Grande St. where he tried to run from other officers but did not make it very far before he was taken into custody.  Potter was booked into jail for Failing to Stop at the Command of an Officers (two counts) Felony warrants and no headlight on his bike.
