SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department requests the community’s help in locating missing camera equipment taken in a vehicle burglary at 200 South 200 West on October 1, 2014.

Approximately 9:10 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2014 the victim parked his car in the area of 200 South 200 West and returned a short time later. The victim, Kenneth Hoffmann discovered his car had been broken into and his Blackmagic 4K cinematography camera ($3000.00 value) and LowPro back pack had been taken.  Kenneth stated the camera and back pack are very rare and he is offering a reward for their return.

Kenneth will be telling his story and will be available to the media on October 9, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at the Salt Lake City Police Department 475 South 300 East.

The Police Department asks anyone who may know the location of the camera equipment or any involved   suspect(s) to call (801) 799-3000. Anonymous tips may be sent by texting the keyword TIPSLCPD plus any relevant information to 274637. Reference: case #14-171504.
