Possible Kidnapping
1000 N. 940 W.

24-year-old Blanca Soldier was reported missing by family members who said she went outside at 8:20 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, and has not returned. Witnesses stated they saw a man assaulting a woman, and she was then forced into a vehicle which left the area. It is possible that Soldier may have been abducted by her former boyfriend, Erwing Rico, 26.  Investigation is ongoing.

Injury Accident
“C” St. 1st Ave.

A motorcycle driver was heading west on 1st Ave, when he collided with an SUV that was travelling North on “C” St. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

2:37 a.m.
1353 W. Indiana Ave.

An employee was working outside the 7-11 in the parking lot when a man approached him, brandished a weapon, and demanded money. The employee complied and the suspect was last seen driving south on Navajo St. in a red 4-door car. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male with a thick accent, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 140 pounds, and wearing a gray hoodie, blue jeans, gray gloves, and a nylon stocking over his head.
