SLCPD Seeks Public’s Help to Identify, Locate Suspect in Bicyclist Hit and Run

SALT LAKE CITY—The Salt Lake City Police Department seeks the public’s help to identify and locate the suspect in a hit and run accident that occurred near East High School.

At 10:27 a.m. November 8, 2014 witnesses reported that a grey vehicle was Northbound on 1300 East approaching 800 South when it struck a bicyclist.  The bicyclist was Northbound approaching 800 South to make a left hand turn when it was hit from behind.  The female bicyclist was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The driver of the grey vehicle pulled to the East side of the road and went over to the female victim and then quickly left the area Northbound on 1300 East.

The suspect is described as a white female in her 40’s 5’04” height with a medium build and short dirty blond hair.

SLCPD is requesting that anyone in the area at the time or who knows anything about this incident contact police to help find the suspect in this case.
