6:17 a.m.
1122 S. 2475 W.

Officers arrived on a burglary in progress at the above address and took Kipp Porter (9/28/67) into custody.  During the course of the investigation it was determined that he had stolen metal from another business in the area.  He was booked into jail for possession of stolen property.

8:31 a.m.
Warrants Arrest
485 W. 200 S.

Miguel Tovaline (7/11/78) was taken into custody for an active warrant. Once Tovaline was placed into a police vehicle he became combative and kicked out the rear window of the police car.  When he was removed from the vehicle he spit at officers. Tovaline was booked into jail for the warrant, possession of marijuana, assault on a police officer and for damaging the police vehicle.

Stolen Vehicle
171 W. 500 S.

An officer observed a stolen vehicle drive out of the Motel 6 parking lot at 600 S. 200 W.  When the driver observed the officer she quickly turned into the Comfort Inn Motel located at 171 W. 500 S.  Mindi Post (6/20/94) parked the vehicle in the lot and attempted to flee on foot but was taken into custody and booked. For possession of a stolen vehicle.
