Officers responded to reports of a theft at a convenience store. The clerk provided a good suspect description and he was located near the store. The suspect attempted to flee on foot and actively resisted arrest, but was taken into custody. Benjamin Battle (9/20/65) was booked into jail for warrants, fleeing and resisting arrest.
