Auto Pedestrian Traffic Accident
1330 W. 500 N.

A (5) year old female attempted to run across the roadway to her father. The little girl entered the roadway between two parked cars (on the north curbline) which obscured her from an oncoming/westbound car’s view. A driver of a ’04 Chevy Imapla did not see and/or stop in time to avoid colliding with the girl. She was transported to Primary Children’s Hospital in serious condition.

Auto Pedestrian Traffic Accident
1820 S. State St.

A female driver was driving Northbound on State St. in her Volkswagen Beatle. At approximately 1820 S.  A male in his early 50’s was walking across state street from west to east, not in a crosswalk. The section of street that the male was crossing was not lit up and the Volkswagen hit the male.  The male was transported to the hospital in serious condition. The identity of the male is not yet known.
