6:54 p.m. Foot Pursuit-Containment

A Detective saw Abel Mendoza (23), who he knew had several outstanding felony warrants. When Mendoza saw the detective, he fled on foot eastbound and into the parking lot of the Royal Garden Inn. Containment was set up and a K-9 Nacho and his handler located Mendoza hiding under a staircase. Mendoza was booked for fleeing and the warrants.
