Two men got into an argument near the shelter.  One of the men stabbed the other. The 43-year-old victim was transported to a local hospital in serious condition. The suspect was located nearby and positively identified.  Julian Valdez, 47, was booked on several charges including aggravated assault.

Two groups of men had been in a confrontation earlier in the day. One of the groups arrived at the listed address as three other men exited a residence and confronted them. The three men from the residence, all in their early twenties, sustained serious injuries from what may have been a crowbar and were transported to the hospital. The suspects then left in a newer, dark Grand Cherokee. They are still outstanding. The case has been turned over to Gangs detectives.

The residents were inside their home when they heard what sounded like someone trying to kick in the rear door, and then the front door. The owner of the home looked out and saw two men wearing white ski masks. He exited to confront them as they fled in a pickup truck, possibly maroon in color.  Suspects outstanding.
