Employees at Deseret Industries Welfare Square located a suspected military mortar round which an unknown person had donated. The Salt Lake City Police Bomb Squad responded along with Hill Air Force Bomb Squad. It was determined that the mortar was a live round.  Military personnel disposed of the device.
