SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department is requesting the community’s help to identify and locate the suspect responsible for assaulting a 54-year-old man. The attack took place last week, Monday, June 8, 2015 at approximately1:40 a.m. in the area of 108 West 2100 South.

Dispatch received an anonymous call that a man was stomping on and dragging another man. The victim was found in the parking lot of Shopper’s Express, north side of 2100 S. The suspect was gone when officers arrived. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. He suffered significant injuries and will have to remain in an institution for extended care once released from the hospital. Detectives are requesting any information on this case.  A witness nearby provided a brief description of the suspect.

  • Tall, lanky build
  • 6 feet tall, 180 lbs.
  • Early 20’s
  • Dark colored clothing
