Aggravated Domestic Assault

A man and a woman were fighting inside their apartment. Police could hear the woman screaming as they approached. Officers had to force entry and then found the man on top of the female holding her down. Police learned the intoxicated suspect had threatened the woman with a handgun and strangled her to the point of losing consciousness. The victim sustained minor injury. Craig Kusmierczyk, 29, was booked on several domestic violence related charges.
