2165 W. Indiana Ave.
A 55-year-old man was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Indiana, slowing to turn right to his workplace. A 51-year-old woman in a mini-van was behind him. The mini-van collided with the back end of the motorcycle, embedding the bike in the front end of the van. The man was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
50 N. 900 W.
A man exited a vehicle, approached a taco cart, brandished a weapon and demanded money. The female victim complied. The vehicle went north with another person inside. The vehicle was spotted by officers a short time later and fled from officers through the Glendale area. At 600 S. Navajo the suspect vehicle failed a turn, damaging both tires, and stopped. One suspect initially fled the scene but ultimately two men were arrested. David Arambula, 21, and Kenny Jauregi, 28 were both booked for aggravated robbery.

A tip from an alert citizen led officers to a suspect from this past weekend’s robbery at Banbury Cross Doughnuts. Thomas McDonald, 30, was found was found sleeping in Pioneer Park and taken into custody. http://slcpd.com/watch-log-monday-july-20-2015
Brampton Way/Redwood Rd.
An officer was waved over and informed that suspicious people were loading a motorcycle into the back of a truck. The officer arrived and three people immediately fled. Other officers converged but the two men and a woman were not located. Investigation ongoing.
