1:28 p.m.
150 N. 900 W.

A female entered the Rite Aid, took shoes and fled the store without paying for them. The female assaulted store security as she fled the store. Officers observed the suspect at 150 North 100 West and took her into custody without incident. Police booked Candice Walker, 26, into jail for robbery.

4:35 p.m.
Aggravated assault
355 S. State St.

A male entered the listed address with a deep laceration across his abdomen. The victim was intoxicated and could only give vague details of the assault. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult, in his 30’s, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 250 lbs, wearing a white T-shirt, and jeans. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate any suspect in the assault. The victim was transported in critical condition to a local hospital. Detectives have been assigned the investigation.

7:30 p.m.
Shots fired
200 E. Hampton Ave.

Three males were in the yard when two juvenile suspects yelled a gang slur and fired multiple shots at the house. One round struck the residence passing through several walls.  No one was injured. The two unidentified males were last seen running east on Hampton Avenue. Officers were unable to locate the suspects.

3:20 a.m.
776 S. 1300 E.

Two suspects entered the 7-11, brandished weapons and demanded cash. After getting cash the two fled in an unknown direction. Suspect #1 is described as a Hispanic male adult, approximately 5 feet 5 inches, wearing a black hoodie and black shorts. Suspect #2 is described as a Hispanic male adult, similar build, wearing a black shirt, white shoes and white shirt over his face.
