Aggravated assault /stolen vehicle
2010 S. 1300 East

A 34-year-old male noticed his stolen vehicle in traffic at the above address as it was being driven by a male suspect. The victim approached the stopped vehicle and attempted to remove the suspect.  An altercation ensued and the suspect was able to drive away, dragging the victim who eventually lost his grip and fell to the asphalt, striking his head on the ground. The victim was transported in serious condition, but later upgraded to stable. This case is still under investigation.
