Officers attempted to stop a vehicle where the driver was known to have felony firearms related warrants. When the vehicle pulled over in the area of 600 S. West Temple a female exited the vehicle. The vehicle then took off at a high rate of speed. Another officer saw the vehicle travelling at a high rate speed from the area. The vehicle was then discovered at 650 W. 800 S. where it had crashed into the freeway bridge support. The two occupants were taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition. Due to the seriousness of the injuries to the driver he will be booked into jail at a later date for his outstanding warrants.
