SALT LAKE CITY —The Salt Lake City Police Department- Evidence Unit has items which have been taken into custody that are being auctioned, donated or otherwise disposed of on Monday, January 25, 2016.

Examples of items available are:

Backpacks, luggage, bags, purse’s, wallets,  clothing, bedding, sleeping bags, credentials (social security cards, ID’s, DL’s, credit and debit cards, passport etc.), guns, knives, money, jewelry, cell phones w/accessories, eye/sun glasses, computers w/accessories, keys, hand and power tools, bikes, bike parts, misc. papers (birth cert’s, photos, letters etc.) license plates, camera’s w/accessories, ipods, stroller, e cig, jewelry box, safe, tire, toys, x-mas items, comic books, coffee maker, flute, collectable coins, BB gun, amplifier, auto battery charger, binoculars, speakers, potting mix, roller blades, jumper cables, mask, car battery charger, face plate, camping stove, car manual, credit card scanner, first aid kit, baby items, plumbing pipes, umbrella, ipads, cologne, tablets, gps, computer speakers, books, swimming accessories, light bulbs, alarm clock, candles, decorative village house, night light, propane tank, water hydration pack, dish network receiver, scooter, boxed shelving, golf clubs/bag, misc. household items.

If you believe that you may have an item/items in the custody of the Salt Lake City Police Department please contact the Evidence Unit at 801-799-3041.

Reasonable attempts have been made to contact the owners where applicable by U.S. Mail.

The Evidence Unit holds lost-and-found and abandoned items no more than 120 days, while property set for disposal from adjudicated cases is no more than 10 years old. If you have reason to believe that property mentioned above may be yours and you have documentation, identification or case numbers to assist in claiming it, please contact the Evidence Unit at (801) 799-3041.
