210 S. 700 E.

A man attempted to leave the store without purchasing the pack of beer he was carrying. The suspect then assaulted the clerk when he tried to stop him from leaving. Officers responded and arrested the male. Police booked Oscar Escobedo, 36, into jail for robbery.

8:35 p.m.
200 S. 500 W.

Officers were called to the shelter on a stabbing. Officers located the victim who had lacerations to his face and a puncture wound in his lower back. The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical care. Officers located the suspect and the weapon involved. Yusufa Jadama, 20, was interviewed and booked into jail for aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and tampering with evidence.
