Officers responded to a shooting and found a 26-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. He was transported to the hospital and is in stable condition. Gang detectives are investigating.

Attempted robbery
735 S. State St.

A 25-year-old female was at the drive-up ATM and had just withdrawn money. A man immediately showed up and grabbed her through the open window. She fought back and stepped on the accelerator, breaking his grip. The suspect did not get any money. He is described as Hispanic, 17-23 years old, sores all over his face.
