Drive-by Shooting
1200 W Illinois Ave

A resident in the area reported 2 bullet holes in his house. Witnesses said an older tan SUV possibly a Dodge Durango fled eastbound on Illinois Ave. No one inside the house was injured. Gang Detectives responded and believe that the house was mistakenly shot at, as it is similar to a house of a gang member on a neighboring street. The owners of the house have no gang affiliation or reason to be targeted.
