Landon Johnson 19, is believed to be the person who shot and killed Eric Padilla in the home invasion robbery that occurred on September 17, at 221 N. Sun Arbor Terrace. Homicide detectives arrested Johnson at the above address without incident.

Drive-by Shooting

A resident in the area reported 2 bullet holes in his house. Witnesses said an older tan SUV possibly a Dodge Durango fled eastbound on Illinois Ave. No one inside the house was injured. Gang Detectives responded and believe that the house was mistakenly shot at, as it is similar to a house of a gang member on a neighboring street. The owners of the house have no gang affiliation or reason to be targeted.
