Stolen vehicle

Officers noticed a man sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle in the Motel 6 parking lot. The male exited the vehicle and went into a motel room. It was later determined that the vehicle was listed stolen. Officers made contact at the room and spoke with the man. The suspect admitted to stealing the vehicle. Officers arrested and booked Juan Hernandez, 26, for theft of a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
