Stolen vehicle
740 N. Irving St.

Officers responded on a suspicious vehicle that was being stripped by two suspects. Officers arrived and one of the suspects fled on foot. Officers took one suspect into custody and booked Irvin Munoz, 21, into jail for possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of a controlled substance. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male juvenile, 15-16 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 150 lbs., with shoulder length hair.

5:22 p.m.
1400 W. Indiana Ave.

A man was contacted by tenants and advised that a woman entered his rental property through a window. The victim entered the home and was confronted by the suspect who was holding a large kitchen knife. The suspect chased the man out of the house. Officers arrived and surrounded the home, but later determined that the suspect was no longer inside. Investigation ongoing.
