Reports came into dispatch that a male and female were exchanging gunfire in the street and that the female had fled into a nearby house, and that the male fled the area. Officers arrived and contained the house. The female eventually came out and she was taken into custody. A search warrant was written and served for the house. Three guns were seized, two of them being stolen. The exchange of gunfire was due to a dispute between the female Cerina Midkirk 44, her new boyfriend Nicholas Erickson 37, and Ricky Joe Midkirk 33, the ex-husband Cerina. No one was injured during the shooting. Cerina was booked into jail for two counts of possession by a restricted person and two counts of possession of a firearm. Ricky was booked for two counts of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm, as well as discharge of a firearm. Nicholas was booked for aggravated assault.
