Salt Lake Police were notified of a court order asking for assistance in locating a child that was believed to be in danger while in custody of her non-custodial mother. Detectives issued an Amber Alert believing the mother was intensifying her effort to evade police. Through further investigation it was discovered that the mother had boarded a plane to Hawaii with her daughter. The local police department in Kauai were contacted and met the plane upon its arrival. The mother and daughter were both taken into custody.
