9:28 a.m. Burglary

Christopher Lettich, 28, was picked up for shoplifting at Walmart. Lettich had they keys to a stolen vehicle which he was seen parking in the Walmart parking lot. The vehicle was stolen just after a burglary had occurred at 1360 South 200 East where credit cards were stolen. Inside that stolen vehicle was a handgun that officers recovered. Additionally, Lettich had evidence from a burglary in Murray. He also was in possession of heroin, meth and paraphernalia. Murray and SLCPD detectives responded for interviews. Police booked Lettich for burglary, shoplifting, auto theft, and possession of stolen property, possession of heroin, meth and paraphernalia.
