Stolen vehicle

Officers stopped a stolen vehicle and took the driver into custody. Officers booked David Johnson, 27, into jail for possession of a stolen vehicle.

5:28 p.m.
Stolen vehicle
120 N. 800 W.

Officers located a stolen vehicle and took the driver into custody. Officers booked Michael Mondragon, 32, into jail for possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of others identifying documents, possession of another’s financial transaction card, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

2:33 a.m.
Aggravated robbery/Carjacking
500 W. 300 S.

A woman allowed a man to get into her vehicle. The two then drove to an unknown address to use drugs. Upon entering a residence the suspect pulled out a handgun and demanded the keys to the woman’s vehicle. The victim refused and was struck in the face with the handgun. The suspect took the victims vehicle and left in an unknown direction. The woman was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries. The suspect is described as a black male adult in his late 40’s to early 50’s, 5 feet 9 inches tall, stocky build with no facial hair and short buzzed hair. The vehicle is described as a green 2006 Volkswagen Beetle.
