Stolen Vehicle
210 W. 500 S.

Officers discovered a stolen vehicle at the listed address. Daniel Latourelle, 32, was near the vehicle and in possession of the keys to the vehicle. Latourelle was booked into jail for possession of a stolen vehicle. Vehicle was returned to the registered owner.

DV, Aggravated Assault
700 W. 1300 S.

Eliseo Villalobos-Chavez, 36, had recently moved out of the above address. Villalobos-Chavez made entry to the residence by breaking several windows and the front door with a metal pipe. Villalobos-Chavez’ estranged girlfriend and another victim were inside. After being confronted, Villalobos-Chavez fled to his truck, stating he would be back with a gun. One of the victims followed to get a vehicle description. As Villalobos-Chavez was leaving, he drove onto the sidewalk in an attempt to hit the victim with the vehicle. Villalobos-Chavez abandoned the vehicle and was tracked by K-9 officers to a nearby address, where Villalobos-Chavez was located inside. Villalobos-Chavez was booked into jail for Aggravated Burglary, Aggravated Assault, Domestic Violence and Criminal Mischief.

3:13 a.m.
731 S. 300 E.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired at this address. Upon arrival, officers located a male on the lawn with several gunshot wounds. This male was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Officers located another male inside the residence who was deceased from a gunshot. Both males are suspected to have broken into the residence and were shot by an occupant of the home. Detectives responded and investigation is ongoing. Male transported to the hospital was later upgraded to serious but stable condition.
