Stolen vehicle
230 E. Garfield Ave.

Officers responded on a stolen vehicle and located a man and woman asleep in the car. The suspects were taken into custody. It was determined that the vehicle might have been involved in two recent hit and run cases in Salt Lake City. Officers booked Manuel Valentino Valdez, 41, into jail for possession of a stolen vehicle, and possession of a controlled substance.

6:00 p.m.
307 E. 2100 S.

A man observed a woman stealing a dealer plate off of a vehicle. When the suspect was confronted she brandished a handgun in a threatening manner. The suspect left the area in a newer gray Honda Civic. The suspect is described as a white female adult 30-40 years of age.
