Stolen vehicle
534 S. Main St.

An officer observed an occupied stolen vehicle and stopped it. The driver was in possession of several shaved keys. Officers booked Peter Hoffman, 39, into jail for possession of a stolen vehicle, a stolen license plate, drug paraphernalia and warrants.

9:43 p.m.
Aggravated assault
600 S. 400 E.

Witnesses observed two males fighting in the street. One of the males got into the front passenger seat of a black Jeep Liberty. The driver of the Jeep drove into the other party involved in the fight, pinning him under the vehicle. The suspects drove north on 400 East a short distance where they abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. Responding officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate either suspects. The victim appeared to be intoxicated and was uncooperative with police and medical personnel at the scene. The Jeep was impounded and held for detectives.
