Officers responded on a disturbing the peace call and encountered a man who was reported to be threatening people. The suspect took a fighting stance and advanced on officers. A Taser was deployed and the suspect was taken into custody. While being placed in handcuffs the suspect kicked one of the officers. Officers booked Raul Amezcua, 46, into jail for disturbing the peace, public intoxication, resisting arrest, assault on a police officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of a protective order and outstanding warrants.

Two men entered a store, pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded cash. The victim complied and the suspects fled the scene. The first Suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult wearing a red puffy jacket or hoodie, tan pants, black and white ski mask and had a handgun. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult wearing a brown plaid shirt and was sparking a Taser during the commission of the robbery.
