Burglary

The victim of a burglary tracked a stolen electronic device to the area of 1300 S.1000 E. Burglary detectives, K9 officers and patrol officers responded to the area where a suspicious male was observed. The male fled from officers, but the suspect was located a short time later as well several items of stolen property. Clem D. Martinez, 40, was booked into Salt Lake County jail for burglary, theft, fail to stop for a police officer, and false information to a police officer.

A victim was in his home when his roommate let two males into their home. The victim recognized the males as “troublemakers” and told the males to leave. As the victim escorted the males out of the home one of the males produced a hand gun and shot a round off into the air. Detectives responded to the area looking for a Hispanic male adult, 5’11, shaved head and black hoodie, and a white male adult, 5’11, 220lb., shaved head, and black hoodie.

The victim was walking in the area when he was approached by the suspect. The suspect produced a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The victim didn’t have any property to give and the suspect fled. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult with a black hoodie and shaved head.
