Possession of handgun
241 N. 300 W.

Students reported seeing another student with a handgun. School resource officer made contact with the student in question and recovered a stolen handgun on that student. The juvenile suspect was taken into custody and booked into detention.

9:57 p.m.
Aggravated robbery
1353 W. Indiana Ave.

The clerk at the above location was outside of the store when a male approached and grabbed the clerk and forced him back into the store at gun point. The male took beer and an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene. Officers were able to gain the person’s identity and respond to his residence. Brayden Johnson, 26, was booked into jail for aggravated robbery.

11:59 p.m.
Shots fired
1680 W. Sir James Dr.

Two males got into an argument at the above address. At one point one of the males produced a firearm and shot it into the air. Both males fled. Gang detectives are following up.
