Officers working part-time at Walmart attempted to take a man into custody for retail theft when the suspect fled on foot. Containment was set up and the suspect was taken into custody. Officers booked Jason Anthony Law, 24, into jail for retail theft and fleeing on foot.
2230 S. 700 E.
A woman was walking to her vehicle when she was approached by a man. The suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded her purse. He then fled on foot. The suspect is described as a white male adult, 5 feet 4 inches tall, thin build, 40-50 years-old with a salt and pepper colored goatee. The suspect was wearing a tan shirt, camo pants and a black baseball cap.

Officers were watching a vehicle that had previously fled multiple times, when they observed the owner approach the car. Officers approached the owner and he fled on foot. Due to the suspects aggression towards officers and past history a Taser was used to take the suspect into custody. Officers booked Robert Flores, 31, into jail for fleeing, interference and several outstanding warrants.

A man was stopped at a red light, when he was punched through an open window, pulled from the car, assaulted and then had his vehicle stolen. The suspects are described as three Polynesian males in their 20’s wearing dark clothes. One of the suspects may have been wearing a flannel hoodie. The stolen vehicle is described as a blue 2011 Toyota Corolla.
