Ped Stop-Foot Pursuit
865 W. North Temple

Officers made a pedestrian stop on a suspicious male at this address.  He gave them a false name and then, as they were talking, fled on foot.  The male was apprehended a short distance away.  William Johnson, 43, stated he had just shoplifted from Family Dollar and was on probation.  Johnson was booked for Misdemeanor A fleeing, retail theft, false information and warrants.
