Assault on a police officer
1129 E. 1st Ave.

Officers located a man that made threats that he was going to kill people. The suspect fled from officers on foot and with the assistance of additional officers was taken into custody. One officer sustained minor injuries as the suspect aggressively resisted and was combative while being detained. Officers booked John Hautau, 38, into jail for assault on a police officer and fleeing.
