Officers attempted to stop a vehicle. The vehicle fled and crashed into another vehicle that was traveling south on 900 West and 300 North. A passenger in the vehicle fled the scene and was not located by officers. The driver of the second vehicle was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. West Valley PD Accident Investigators responded to handle the crash investigation. The driver was booked into juvenile detention for Felony three DUI with serious injuries, Felony two fleeing that causes serious injuries, possession of marijuana, no driver’s license and an inoperable brake light.
