2:32 p.m. Robbery 225 W. 200 S.
Officers responded to the hotel at this address on a report of a robbery in progress. Upon arrival officers found the suspect had entered the hotel and attempted to take items from the gift shop. The suspect was approached by a hotel employee and asked to return the items. The suspect threw the items at the employee then struck him repeatedly in the face. The suspect attempted to flee but was detained by other employees. Coleman Hofeling, 35, was booked in to jail for robbery.
