A person was inside their residence when a group of individuals, wearing masks, forced entry. The suspects stole items and the victim’s vehicle. As the vehicle was being pulled out of the driveway victim Mason Hunt, age 26, arrived at the residence and got into a confrontation with the suspects and was shot. The suspects fled and the victim went into the residence. Officers arrived, requested medical and rendered first aid. The victim was transported to an area hospital and was pronounced deceased. Homicide detectives responded to handle the investigation.
