Carjacking suspect arrest

A known carjacking suspect was spotted by officers. The suspect quickly entered a motel room and slammed the door. K-9 officers responded to assist. Repeated knocks and announcements were ignored and the door was unlocked using a key. The suspect refused to exit the room and was subsequently removed with the assistance of a K-9 and officers. The suspect was taken to the ground and continued to resist and hide his hands. The suspect was taken into custody. The suspect received bites and lacerations during his apprehension and was treated at an area hospital. Officers booked Rayvon Davila, 29, into jail for aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and numerous warrants.
