Aggravated assault

500 S. West Temple



An officer was traveling south on West Temple Street when he noticed Jared Houskeeper, 38, swinging a large machete at another male.  The officer confronted Houskeeper and took him into custody.  The officer learned the two had begun fighting because the male victim stepped on Houskeeper’s foot.  Houskeeper was booked into jail for aggravated assault.
