Traffic Stop, Resisting, Warrants
1300 W. Indiana Ave

Officers were on patrol when they observed a black Cadillac Escalade stopped in the middle of Jeremy St. Officers found the vehicle had no insurance by license plate. They conducted a traffic stop and contacted Joshua Perez, 23. Officers found an empty beer bottle and an empty syringe in plain view. Perez attempted to give a false name. When officers attempted to take Perez into custody he resisted. Perez was booked for false information and resisting as well as outstanding warrants.

3:17 a.m.
Shots Fired
1768 W. 1300 N.

A witness reported she heard arguing in an apartment. The argument moved into the parking lot where six shots were fired. Officers searched the area for any of the parties involved but no one was found. A shell casing was found in the parking lot. No reports of damaged property or injuries.
