Bomb Threat

2150 S. 1300 E.


Officers responded to the Davinci Virtual call center on a bomb threat. Most of the offices within the 5-story building chose to evacuate.  A K9 responded to the scene and searched the second floor, which Davinci Virtual occupies.  The K9 did not locate anything of concern. Building occupants then decided to return to business as normal.



8:20 p.m.
Bear Spray Incident

744 E. 400 S.


An employee at Chuck-A-Rama called to report bear mace had been sprayed in the dining area of Chuck-A-Rama. Officers and Fire arrived and found an employee had sprayed the substance. It is unknown why the mace had been sprayed, officers have been unable to contact the employee at this time. Salt Lake City Fire responded to assist with those who were exposed.
