Wanted Person-Foot Pursuit
800 S. 900 W.

An officer observed Tyce Rasmussen, 25, walking along 800 South and recognized Rasmussen as having multiple outstanding warrants. As the officer pulled over to speak with Rasmussen, Rasmussen began running. The officer was able to apprehend him a short distance from where the foot chase began. Rasmussen was booked into jail for the outstanding warrants, fleeing, and drug paraphernalia.

Aggravated Robbery
821 W. Fremont Ave

Officer responded to UMed and found victim reporting to have been robbed and assaulted with brass knuckles and a large knife at 821 W Fremont Ave. He received a large cut on face from brass knuckles, broken hand, and concussion. The victim’s wallet, gold chain necklace, and cell phone were taken. The victim identified his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend along with a couple other males as the culprits. The girlfriend and her boyfriend were located, with the girlfriend being taken to JRC because of her status as a runaway. And the boyfriend Francisco Gutierrez, 18, booked into jail on warrants.
