A construction worker called stating an unknown male had told him there was a body in a drainpipe at the rear of the property. Officers found a vertical pipe with a person inside and deceased. Fire heavy rescue responded to assist with recovery of the body. Investigators and Medical Examiner working the case.   


10:15 p.m.

Sexual Assault

573 E. 300 S.



A female was near this address when she was approached by a male suspect who asked her for a cigarette. He proceeded to push the female to the ground then started sexually assaulting her.  When she screamed, the suspect got up and left the scene. Victim was transported to a local hospital to be evaluated. Victim does not know the suspect but said he called himself “Chris”. 


2:15 a.m.

Sexual Assault

1773 W. North Temple St.



A female stated she got a ride from a black male adult named “Devon” from the Flying J. She stated that she didn’t know the guy but asked him if he’d help her out by giving her a ride. The suspect drove the female behind a building at this location at around 2:15 a.m. The male then sexually assaulted her in the backseat of his truck. The female stated he became angry with her and kicked her out of his truck because she was resisting. The suspect’s truck is a white Dodge Ram farm truck with a flat bed. The female was transported to a local hospital to be evaluated.   


3:32 a.m.

Shots Fired

741 S. 300 S.



Multiple calls of shots fired in this area. Witness stated they heard three shots fired. When officers arrived, they found 3 empty casings and 2 live rounds. No suspect or damaged property were found.
