7:42 p.m.
900 S. 700 E.

The victim was driving on 900 South at about 700 E. when they came upon a person in the roadway obstructing the flow of traffic. The subject in the roadway kicked the victim’s car. The victim stopped and got out of the car. At that time the subject produced a knife and slashed at the victim. The subject then fled the scene. The victim self-transported to a local hospital.

9:43 p.m.
1810 S. Main

The victim and her boyfriend arranged to buy some drugs. They met up with some dealers and the boyfriend got into the car with the dealers. At that time the boyfriend showed the money he had brought. The dealers then produced a gun and demanded the money. The boyfriend fled the car as the dealers shot at him. They missed him but hit the vehicle he had come in where his girlfriend, the victim was sitting. A bullet passed through the door and struck her in the lower back. She was taken to the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery. The suspects were described as Hispanic male adults driving silver Chrysler 200.

Stolen Vehicle
131 E. 700 S.

Gold Cross ambulance was tending to a person at the women’s shelter when Carrie Durham, 31, decided to take the ambulance. The ambulance was tracked, and a high hazard stop was conducted. Durham was not compliant when she stopped. A K9 was deployed and Durham received a bite to her arm. She was treated at a hospital and then taken to jail for possession of a stolen vehicle.
