824 W. North Temple St.
Two victims were approached by a male in the parking lot of the Big Smoke/Pizza Hut at 824 W North Temple Street. According to the victims, the male produced a gun, pointing it at one of the victims while demanding their cell phone. The one victim gave up the phone and the suspect fled on foot north bound on 800 West. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 5’6”, 225lbs, wearing black shorts, a grey short sleeved shirt with white writing on the front and a ball cap.
Aggravated Assault / Hit and Run
347 E. 200 S.
A suspect assaulted a male and female at the above address. A friend of the victim chased after the suspect as he ran east on 200 South. The suspect then got into an Audi A4 which was parked near 400 E. 200 S. The suspect drove his vehicle and swerved it at the friend to run him over. The friend jumped out of the way to avoid the vehicle but still got hit but was uninjured. The suspect’s vehicle then struck a parked unoccupied vehicle before fleeing the area. The two assault victims did not want to be victims. Officer checked several addresses, but the suspect and his car were not located.
1780 W. North Temple St.
The victim was approached in the parking lot by three males, all wearing dark clothing, hoodies with the hoods up and white bandanna’s over their faces. One of the males produced a pistol and demanded the victim’s cell phone. The robbery was interrupted by a tow truck arriving in the lot. The three suspects fled on foot, without the victim’s phone. The tow truck driver thought they possibly got into a black Honda four door passenger car and fled west bound on North Temple.
