Traffic Incident
800 S. State Street

A Nissan Maxima was westbound on 800 S. driving without its headlights when it failed to stop for a red light at State Street. A Nissan Cube was northbound State Street crossing through the intersection on a green light when it was struck by the Maxima. Both occupants of the Maxima were transported to a local hospital in extremely critical condition. Both were later upgraded to serious but stable condition. The passenger of the Cube was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

2:08 a.m.
805 W. North Temple

The victim was walking North on 800 W.  As he approached the intersection with North Temple, he was approached by a black male adult.  The black male produced a handgun and demanded the victim’s money. The victim handed over the cash that he had on him. A silver SUV driven by a white female pulled up and picked up the suspect and then fled the area southbound on 800 West.
