The victim called police after a male entered the store and began assaulting him. The victim stated that the male may be armed with a rock. When officers arrived on scene the suspect approached officers in a threatening manner. A K-9 was utilized and the suspect was bitten and taken into custody. After being transported to a local hospital for evaluation, the suspect, Shane Burris, 40, was booked for assault, trespass, and resisting arrest.
