5:48 a.m.
Aggravated Assault
1990 W. North Temple St.

The victim gave the suspect a ride to this address from Central Utah. Once they arrived the suspect brandished a knife and refused to pay the victim. The suspect was not located.

8:17 a.m.
409 W. 400 S.

Officers responded to reports of a man waving a gun near this address. Officers located a man acting erratically while holding a handgun. Officers gave commands and the male dropped the gun and was taken into custody without incident. The male was in possession of drug paraphernalia and what was eventually determined to be an airsoft gun. The male refused to identify himself and has not been identified as of this writing. He was booked into jail for aggravated assault, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to identify.

8:30 p.m.
Lewdness Arrest
1st Avenue and G St. Area

Special Victims Unit detectives had noticed an increase in lewdness reports in this area. The detectives set up surveillance in the area and developed probable cause to detain a suspect. Donald Willard, 39, was booked into jail for numerous felony and misdemeanor counts of stalking, lewdness, voyeurism and failure to register as a sex offender.
