Recovered Stolen Vehicle
1700 S. 200 E.

Officers were dispatched when a witness saw a man abandon a truck in the roadway and run into the neighborhood. Dispatch indicated that the truck was recently broadcast as stolen out of Davis County. Officers set up containment on the area. A witness reported that the male entered a backyard of a house with an open backdoor. An officer heard a disturbance from inside the house. Fearing the homeowners may be in danger, officers entered to investigate while other officers maintained containment. Officers found the terrified homeowners screaming at the suspect to get out of their house. Yancie Zacharia Parsons, 31, was taken into custody without further incident. Woods Cross Police responded to the scene to recover the stolen truck. Woods Cross Police reported that Parsons fled from multiple Davis County agencies today in two different stolen trucks and one motorcycle in a short period of time. Woods Cross Police took custody of Parsons and booked him into the Davis County jail on multiple felony charges.
